GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION / PROPÓSITO GENERAL DEL PUESTO

The 12-Pallet Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of incoming raw product and the proper movement of palletized loads into the Hydro Vac tube process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational flow, product integrity, and workplace safety within the Receiving Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES

• Safely and efficiently unload trucks
• Transport pallets to Hydro Vac tubes and cold storage areas
• Verify that all pallets are properly tagged and identified
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues
• Operate equipment in compliance with safety procedures
• Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA
English:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum two (2) years of forklift operating experience
• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts (12-pallet preferred)
• Ability to operate pallet scales and warehouse equipment
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Español:
